If you feel comfortable to continue, I’ll move forward at your pace, with regular sessions focused on your goals, growth and wellbeing.

This free consultation gives you the chance to speak with me directly to get a sense of how I work. It is there for you to ask questions and to explore whether counselling feels right for you. Many people find that even this first conversation offers a sense of relief and direction.

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We’ll discuss what’s bringing you to counselling, your goals, and any concerns you might have. It’s a relaxed conversation aimed at making you feel comfortable and setting the foundation for our work together.

Each session typically lasts 50 minutes. The number of sessions varies depending on your individual needs and goals. Some clients find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from longer-term support. We’ll regularly review our progress to ensure the counselling is meeting your needs.

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of counselling. What you share in sessions stays between us. However, there are rare exceptions where I’m legally obligated to break confidentiality, such as if there’s a risk of harm to you or others. We’ll discuss this in more detail during our first meeting.

Absolutely. I offer both in-person sessions across my Manchester, Liverpool and Stockport locations, as well as online sessions via secure video conferencing. This flexibility means you can choose the setting that feels most comfortable and convenient for you — whether that’s face-to-face or from the comfort of your own home.
